July--The Condensed Version

This month was a fun-filled action packed month. We had the 4th of July celebrations, Capture the Flag with the youth, Jorgensen Family Reunion, trip to Bear Lake and the 24th of July celebration. Here is our month in pictures! Enjoy!

First up our annual neighborhood 4th of July party!

Rebekah and her friend watching "fire works" in front of our house. It was more like a mini-light show. All the fireworks seem to do the same thing--spurt fountains of light.

Joshua has many talents, one apparently is that of spitting water out of his mouth into three separate streams.
Matthias has taken to having his tongue visible in most pictures these days. This was taken at our neighborhood 4th of July party.
Sarah, sporting the oh so fashionable star-speckled bandana.

Lydia and her good buddy Ty-ty.

What!? No tongue, now that is surprising :)

The dogs pictured here, came wandering into the neighborhood, and were so nice, they let the kids pet and play with them, and kept wanting to go into our garage. The kids were pleading to keep the dogs in the back yard for the night, but I said no. The next day as we are going to church we see a lost dog sign on the stop sign by our house and it's the same two dogs that were at our house. What would you have done?

Next up: Capture the Flag with the Youth--this was the activity where the youth had lots of fun and the adults realized how old they are :)

Run! Abby! Run!
Laughing at some funny fall :)

Being in Jail looks like lots of fun!

Running to get somebody

Next up--Boys Club! Making Slime!
Recipe: 1 tsp borax added to one cup of water. Dissolve borax. Add this mixture to one bottle of clear Elmer's Glue. Result= messy fun!
My parents were in town for the Reunion we had for my Jorgensen Family. And while I don't have any pictures of that event, here is a picture of us celebrating my Mom's b-day which was on the 20th of this month.
Below: Random picture of Matthias and me!

Next up: Pitt Family Trip to Bear Lake. We stayed at the Ideal Beach Resort. We had great accommodations, wonderful access to the beach, and descent weather. What more could we ask for. It was a few days of playing hard, getting messy and having fun. Both Ryan and I managed to take a turn water skiing, as well as using the jet skis a couple of times. Thank you to our wonderful Pitt family for the fun time!

Yes, more tongue by Matthias pictured above and below

And lastly we have our Ward 24th of July party! It was a lot of fun. There was a dunk tank, food olympics, and just all around great company!

Above: Joshua and his friend Kevin. Below, Joshua again having fun!

Above: Silly Rebekah. Below: Lydia in the Dunk Tank

Above: Sarah and her friend Simone! Below: Matthias and Sarah enjoying snow cones. Our neighbors run a snowie business and brought their stuff, selling them for a quarter per snowie.

Congratulations to all of you who made it to the end of this post! You are a true friend for sticking this marathon photo extravaganza out! Happy July to all! Can you believe this was the condensed version--imagine what the full length version would have been like.

  1. Thanks for inviting me to view your blog! It was fun to see pictures of the July happenings in A.F. We made it to Atlanta...I'll post about the trip soon. It was very long. We miss our friends! P.S. Our ward has 50 girls in the YW program...can you IMAGINE?
