Parables--Tuesday and Wednesday

For Easter wee tuesday and wednesday we had a devotional each day.  Tuesday we discussed the parable of the Good Samaritan and compared it to the Atonement and the Plan of Salvation.  Wednesday talked about the parable of the Ten Virgins and the kids made lamps out of real clay.  It was extra messy but it was a lot of fun!

4-19-11, Tuesday Picture--Dinner at Ten:  Tuesday was so busy that I didn't get to eat dinner till 10:00 pm, which actually isn't uncommon these days . . . . unfortunately.

Dinner Tuesday:  Pork roast sandwich, a few sun chips and a glass of Fresca

4-20-11--Wednesday Picture:  Herodian Lamp Creations.  This picture is brought to you by clay.  The kids loved getting messy and had a great time trying to make Herodian lamps (the kind they would have used in Jesus' day.  Matthias is missing in this picture because he is playing with water at the sink.
